Sian Williams CEO

Sian Williams is the CEO of The Villages’ Multi Academy Trust.

Sian was thrilled to take up the position as CEO in September 2024, picking up the mantle from the founding CEO, Phil Jackson. This new role is especially meaningful to her as she was previously Deputy Headteacher at Lyppard Grange Primary School when it opened in 1998 before becoming Headteacher there until 2008.

Sian Williams has worked in the education sector for 33 years and worked at a leadership level in three Worcester city schools. Sian has served as Headteacher at two Worcester city primary schools and was Headteacher at Northwick Manor Primary School until 2023.

School Improvement has always been at the heart of the work Sian does with schools and Trusts. Before taking up this new position as CEO, she spent a period working within school improvement and consultancy in the primary phase across Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

Sian is also an Ofsted Inspector and has been inspecting schools across the West Midlands since 2014.

Sian believes that working within education is a most rewarding career path – “every day is distinctive and it is a privilege, as well as a huge responsibility”.

Her core purpose has always been to ensure that every child leaves school as a well-balanced individual, having fallen in love with learning so that they can live their lives to the full.

Sian is looking forward to leading The Villages Multi Academy Trust into its next phase of development.
